How Can We Help?

This platform is designed to support review of climate-health surveillance information across South Africa. If you need help interpreting a page, understanding an indicator, or accessing protected account tools, the support channels below should help you get to the right place quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign in to use the platform?

Most platform pages are publicly viewable. Sign-in is only needed for account settings and protected administrative tools.

How often is weather data updated?

Current weather conditions are refreshed from the Open-Meteo API. Historical climate-health indicators and extreme weather event data update according to the latest approved data loads.

Can I download the data shown on the platform?

No. The public release is intended for on-screen review only, and data download/export actions have been disabled.

How do I interpret weather alerts?

Weather alerts summarise active or recent conditions that may require attention. For context on long-term patterns, compare them with the Trends, Weather & Climate, and Climate-Health Linkages pages.
